Ise Jingu

Ise Jingu is one of the most prestigious shrines in Japan. It’s always a wonderful place to visit.

The Inner Shrine of Ise Jingu enshrines Amaterasu Omikami as the main deity, and is of great importance to the Japanese Imperial Family.

It is known to hold a large-scale shrine rebuilding ceremony called Shikinen Sengu once every 20 years. It is one of the best shrines to visit at least once.
